IT Expo Management Committee and Conference Chair Selected
IT Expo Management Committee held their first planning meeting in early January and AITP’s Jim Henry assumed the duties of Conference Chair for the ’07 conference. The event is expected to have eight conference tracks and 80 hours of presentations over two days and 1,500+ participants.

In addition to Jim Henry, the IT Expo 2007 management committee includes Steve Gonzalez of Gonzalez Marketing, producer of IT Expo, Mark Mathis, current AITP president and Marketing Director at Arctic IT, Dick Jablanowski, a past president of AITP and a 20+ year IT industry member, and John Tibor and Cindy Baldwin, both longstanding AITP and IT industry members.

IT professionals interested in participating or presenting during the conference are encouraged to contact Jim at 242-8600 right away.

IT Expo Trophy Rainbow Fishing Event

October in Alaska is THE month for trophy Rainbow fishing on the Kenai River and IT Expo is offering the fishing adventure of a lifetime for our exhibitors and presenters. IT Expo Fishing Event will occur the weekend before IT Expo on the upper Kenai River, the Kenai River Canyon, and/or at the output of Skilak Lake as it drops back into the Kenai River. Fishing from drift boats, trips will be affordable, include transportation to and from the Kenai, lunch, all tackle and gear, fly-fishing instruction, and will be guided by pros who know the river and how to fish for the famous wild ‘Bows of the Kenai. Take a business associate and make this a true working event! This is a catch and release fishery known for trophy rainbows up to 36”.
